When are tuition fees due?

Roommeme tuition fees are payable on a term by term basis. First-term tuition is due 60 days prior to the start of your program. Returning and continuing students must pay their tuition fees in full within 10 business days from the start of classes. Part-time course tuition fees must be paid at the time of registration.

What is a tuition fee deferral?

You may request an extension of your tuition fee payment deadline. If your request is approved, you still have to pay your fees but at a later date. Tuition fee deferral is for one term of study at a time.

Am I eligible for a tuition fee deferral?

You are eligible to apply for a tuition fee deferral if you meet at least one of the following criteria:
In addition, if you are newly accepted into a full-time program, you are required to pay your Roommeme Commitment Fee before your tuition fee deferral application will be considered.

How long will it take to process my application?


We advise students to apply for government loan/grant funding either through BC or another province/territory at least eight weeks prior to the start of the classes so that they may not need to apply for a tuition fee deferral. Tuition Fee Deferral applications are processed in the order they are received. It may take up to 5 business days to process.

How can I check the status of my application?


The status of your tuition fee deferral application is viewable on account, whether your application was submitted online or by paper.
