This Instructor lead, hands-on course continues on from COMP 1361 or COMP 2010. Students should have a solid understanding and knowledge of the basic and intermediate features of Word. Students learn to create complex documents, templates and forms using the advanced features in Word. Advanced topics include: automating a table of contents; building an index; tracking changes; mail merging; developing templates and forms; automating tasks with building blocks and macros. Participants start at an intermediate level and progress to expert in just 6 lessons and learn how to manage all types of complex Word documents. Only those students who have self-studied all the topics in COMP 1361 should register for this advanced level course. COMP 2361 will be offered twice per year; April (BBY) and September (DTC).
